Holstee fan Kyle Baker was rocking his Upcycled T-shirt at the recent Sasquatch concert at the Gorge! Here is what he had to say: "You wouldn't believe (or maybe you would) how many comments I got on the shirt. Tons of people in the food/latrine lines and a lot of people in the campground too wanted to know what was up with it and where it was from." Dutch World Cup T-Shirt Design
I hope everyone is enjoying the World Cup! I know I was psyched to see the US tie it up up with England and was gladly surprised with Germans win over Australia. Wins and losses aside, I need to note the design of this Dutch fan's t-shirt! I love the functional design, absolute genius! When you pull the shirt over your head it perfectly exposes the hidden face design on the inside of the shirt. I want one!
Brain Pickings 500
Today, one of our favorite blogs, Brain Pickings passes the 500 post mark. To celebrate this incredible feat, we've got a trifecta collab consisting of Len Kendall, Brain Pickings + yours truly. Brain Pickings has curated the content of the top 50 posts, Len has brilliantly interpreted and illustrated each one and we will be hand silk screening each one onto upcycled T-shirts. The coolest part is, the artwork is fully clickable, meaning that each individual illustration will lead to it's respective post!

Fresh off the heels of a rainy start to the week, there was a clear consensus at Holstee HQ this morning: get outside + enjoy this amazing day in Union Square. Sooo that's what we're doing. The energy is great, the sun is unreal... if your in the area, swing by (union sq west, just below 15th st). As usual we have homemade organic lemonade to share- just have a refillable bottle or something to drink from.
